SOGO Run Club is the running arm of SOGO Fitness, one of central Tokyo’s largest English-speaking fitness communities. Their weekly Thursday session, known as the “CHAMber of Pain,” combines a social run with a high-intensity HIIT workout in Yoyogi Park.

Sessions begin at 19:30 at the Yoyogi Park Clock Tower. The group starts with a warm-up, followed by a 4–5 km run through the park at a conversational pace. After the run, the session concludes with a community HIIT workout.

The atmosphere is inclusive and high-energy, welcoming participants of all fitness levels. SOGO Fitness is volunteer-led and free to join, making it a great way to meet people in Tokyo while staying active. Join their Meetup group for the latest event updates and to RSVP.
